Arriving in Lodz

Łódź Airport is located in the south-western part of the city, 6 km away from the city centre which enables fast access to the centre of Łódź (Piotrkowska Street) and the main train station (Łódź Kaliska). All necessary details can be found on the airport’s website http://lotnisko.lodz.pl/pl/o-lotnisku.html. A taxi stand and a bus stop (lines 55, 65) are in the direct neighbourhood. There is also line L which connects airport with train stations.

If you fly to Warsaw, you will need to transfer from Warsaw Chopin Airport (http://www.lotnisko-chopina.pl/) to Warszawa Centralna station (approx. 30 min) either by train, public bus (line 175) or by taxi. Chopin Airport is linked to the city centre by a railway service. The service is operated by two companies: Szybka Kolej Miejska – SKM (Fast Urban Railway) and Koleje Mazowieckie (Masovian Railways). The bus line 175 takes you directly to Warszawa Centralna railway station. It than takes approx. 1,5 h to travel to Łódź by train. You can also catch coaches that run from Warsaw Chopin Airport to Łódź Kaliska train station (approx. 2 h). Public transport in Lodz

Passengers are advised to take buses line 55, 77, 57 (5-minute walk) or trams line 3, 6, 8, 10, 14, 16 10-minute walk to the Conference venue.
